Hey everyone. My name is Courtney Houston. I am a current sophomore at Appalachian State University. I am majoring in Nursing. Nursing is very important to me because it is has always been what I want to do whenever I grow up. Almost everyone in my family works with some type of job in the health care. I enjoy taking care of people and spending time with them. I currently work as a CNA and I love my job. I work at a local nursing home in my hometown. I love working at my job because I get to interact with so many great people. One of my favorite things to do when I am working is showing them all of the compassion that they deserve and make them feel like they are at home. I enjoy working with old people because I am very close with my grandparents and I treat my patients how I would want someone to treat my grandparents.
